Ready to say yes to PLNU? Perfect. We’ll walk you through four easy steps to make it official. So again, welcome to PLNU!
1. Submit Your Confirmation Deposit
Your $425 deposit officially confirms your place here at PLNU. It ensures you’ll receive campus housing and a course schedule. You’ll need your student ID number to make your deposit, which is located on your acceptance letter. Your deposit is refundable up until May 1.
You can also mail in a check. Please make the check out to PLNU, include your full name and PLNU ID number (located on your acceptance letter), and mail to:

2. Set Up Your PLNU Student Portal
Your Student Portal (my.pointloma.edu) is your personalized entry point for managing all of your PLNU-related business. You’ll use it throughout your college experience to check the status of financial aid, connect with roommates, search for campus jobs, and much more.
Go to the Student Portal (my.pointloma.edu)
Click on the “Create Account” link on the left side of the screen
Enter your PLNU student ID number (found on your acceptance letter), last name, and zip code
Verify your name, address, and alternate email address on the next screen displayed
Check your alternate email address for your verification code, enter it, and click "Verify"
Select username (this will become your PLNU email address) and password
Wait 10 minutes before logging in the first time for our database to refresh
When your account is created, click on the “Students” tab at the top for your forms, financial aid information, and more

3. Fill Out Your Forms
Once you set up your student portal (step 2), you’ll be able to fill out some forms that we need from you before you arrive on campus. Please note that all forms must be submitted by May 1.
Personal Profile Form
We’re committed to helping you achieve your academic goals and stay on track to graduate on time. That’s why we ask you to fill out a Personal Profile form. This form helps us put together an academic profile of you.
Student Success and Wellness Information
We are dedicated to providing a healthy environment for you at PLNU. In order to ensure this, you’ll need to provide medical information. You’ll be able to do so on the online health services portal starting April 1st.

Residential Life Form
At PLNU, campus life is fun and exciting, and we can’t wait for you to move-in as a resident, or get involved as a commuter. We are committed to providing you a comfortable, supportive home for these next few years. In order to receive on-campus housing, or to tell us you'd like to live off-campus, you’ll need to fill out a Residential Life Form.
You will get your official housing information (including where you’ll live, and who your roommate will be) in early December (for spring students) or July (for fall students) on your Student Portal.
4. Register for Preview Day (Optional)
We offer two special Preview Days just for our admitted students in April. Registration opens up in March, so don’t hesitate to take advantage of this great opportunity to discover PLNU.
